Durham head to Grantham to face Notts Outlaws on Sunday

Royal London Cup action continues to come thick and fast as Durham head straight back into action tomorrow to take on Notts Outlaws at Grantham, starting at 11am.

On the back of Friday’s close scoring loss to Gloucestershire at Chester le Street, Durham face a Notts side who sit in 5th place in Group A with 4 points from 4 games having won two and lost two.

Durham remain in 8th spot with just the one win against Somerset at Taunton on Wednesday.

Neil Killeen has stuck with an unchanged 14 player squad – having remained with the same squad who travelled to Somerset and the 14 who were at Seat Unique Riverside on Friday.

Squad v Notts Outlaws (14 August)

Scott Borthwick, Jonathan Bushnell, Paul Coughlin, Graham Clark, Luke Doneathy, Sean Dickson, George Drissell, Oliver Gibson, Mitchell Killeen, Tom Mackintosh, Nic Maddinson, Stanley McAlindon, Chris Rushworth, Liam Trevaskis

Words from Neil Killeen

We’ve played two very exciting games and anybody who has been watching them will have seen fantastic cricket. It has been nerve-tingling, but cricket a lot of the younger lads can learn from. We came off after the first innings on Friday feeling that we had done a decent job and had a good chance of chasing that down. It was a fantastic pitch, we were positive about the chase and we came really close. Paul Coughlin played a fantastic innings. He played proper shots down the ground and gave us a chance of reaching the total. We’ve all been waiting for an innings like that from him. It was a fantastic effort.

Match Centre

The Club’s match centre will be in operation for the fixture with live scorecards, statistics & video highlights as they happen. You can watch the game live via Durham’s match centre and Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club YouTube channel.
