The One Day Cup group stage continues to come thick and fast and Durham are straight back on the road, taking on Kent on Sunday at Canterbury [11am].
Campbell’s side head South on the back of a thumping win over Hampshire by 144 runs on Friday at South Northumberland Cricket Club and remain well in contention for the knockout stages.
Friday’s win moves Durham up to fifth in Group A with 7 points and sit just 1 point off second place Worcestershire.
Campbell has named a 13-player squad heading to Canterbury with Paul Coughlin being rested and Mitchell Killeen dropping out due to injury.
Kent sit one point behind Durham in seventh place with 6 points and head into the game on Sunday on the back of a win over Derbyshire by 3 wickets.
They are missing five players to the Hundred in Zak Crawley, Daniel Bell-Drummond, Fred Klaassen, Sam Billings, Tawanda Muyeye but do have two overseas players available in Beyers Swanepoel and Charlie Stobo.

Words from Colin Ackermann
It was good to get another win, and it keeps us in the hunt for a quarter-final spot. Spirits are high.
It was my first time playing at South Northumberland, and I’d heard that there would be a bit of seam movement up front and some tennis ball bounce. It was about assessing the conditions early on.
We kind of knew that with wickets in hand and relatively small boundaries, we could catch up at the end.
One of our key performance indicators is to have one of the top five in towards the back end, so I knew that was my role.
Waggy (Wagner) was brilliant. He brought that energy with the bat and struck early for us with the ball. He made use of the harder newer ball in the first 10 overs. We knew that if we bowled to our potential, it was going to be tough for Hampshire.
We have momentum now going into the final two group games, after two good wins [against Northamptonshire and Hampshire], we head to Kent tomorrow, re-group and hopefully finish the season strong in this format.
Opposition Corner
Captain: Jack Leaning
Overseas players: Charlie Stobo (Australia), Beyers Swanepoel (South Africa)
2023 finish: Fourth (Group A)
2023 leading run scorer: Daniel Bell-Drummond (390)
2023 leading wicket taker: Matt Parkinson (17)
Key player: Ben Compton, an old-school opener who knows exactly how to pace an innings over 50 overs, whether chasing or setting a target. In this format patience can still be a virtue.
Keep an eye on: Jaydn Denly who made five appearances in this competition in 2023 and impressed in the Men’s Youth Test with Sri Lanka at Cheltenham with an enterprising 57. Potentially useful partner for Matt Parkinson and Hamid Qadri if Kent decide to produce some turning wickets.
Final thought: This is Kent’s last chance to salvage something from a desperate season. They finished bottom of their Vitality Blast group and look highly likely to get relegated from the Vitality County Championship The quick bowling ranks have been decimated by injuries so why not give the spinners something to work with?
