Durham Cricket is pleased to announce that the UK home improvement retailer Wickes will sponsor the Club ahead of the 2024 season.

Wickes, which will open a new store at St Andrews Retail Park in Durham, has partnered with the County as the back-of-shirt sponsor for Durham’s Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign.

A 24,000 square feet Wickes store and associated car park will open on 17 May, adding to Wickes’ comprehensive stores in the North East.

Their sponsorship will see Wickes feature on the back of Durham’s new 50-over shirt, while branding will be displayed around the Seat Unique Riverside.

Tom Seymour, Commercial Director, said: “We are thrilled to have partnered with Wickes for the 2024 season as Durham returns to the top flight of County Cricket.

“To see Wickes open a new store in the heart of Durham is exciting, giving us the opportunity to work with a national brand and develop a partnership with them.

“We wish their new store in Durham all the best and look forward to a successful opening launch next month.”

Shelley Allison, Head of Marketing at Wickes, added: “We are proud to be opening our newest store in St Andrews Retail Park on the 17th May.
