Durham return to Royal London One Day action tomorrow against Middlesex at Radlett, following Sunday’s washout against Sussex.
Alan Walker has stuck with the same 13 man squad that were named to face Sussex last time out.
Tomorrow’s List A clash will be the 26th time Durham have gone up against Middlesex, their most recent fixture being at Emirates Riverside in 2014 were the match was abandoned due to the rain with Durham 56/3 after 14 overs.
Durham will come up against former Durham batsman Peter Handscomb who is Middlesex One Day captain who will lead out a much changed Middlesex outfit, as the London side are without seven of their first team regulars due to the Hundred including Eoin Morgan, John Simpson, Steven Finn, Nathan Sowter, Blake Cullen and Joe Cracknell.
Middlesex lost their opening game of the One Day cup yesterday going down by 9 wickets to Essex at Chelmsford. Middlesex batted first and scored 212 being bowled out in 45.4 overs as Jack Davies top scored with 70 supported by 47 from Robbie White. In reply Middlesex claimed just one wicket as Ethan Bamber dismissed Will Buttleman but it was a comfortable win for Essex chasing down 213 in 39 overs.

Words from Scott Borthwick
“It was a long and frustrating day at Sussex we started the warm up and the heavens opened and then the heavy rain was on and off all day, so a very long day.
“We had that fantastic win down at Beckenham last week, I thought the way the lads conducted them selves especially the two up top in Leesy and Clarky were brilliant, with both setting that platform by going and getting big scores.
“When you are winning and playing well you want to keep going and get back out there and start again for the next game, but like I said yesterday was a frustrating day but hopefully we can get back playing cricket tomorrow.
“This competition works different to the T20s where you only play 8 games so every game is important and every point is important, so hopefully we can get on tomorrow as the lads are desperate to get out there.”
