The Sri Lankan A side will be using the one day practice ahead of their triangular one day series against New Zealand A and the hosting England Lions.
The England Lions squad which includes Durham pace-man Mark Wood is currently touring Sri Lanka and Mark will be looking to be in the Durham side to face the Sri Lankans back at Emirates Durham ICG this summer.
This won’t be the only time the Sri Lankans will be in action at Emirates Durham ICG as the full Sri Lanka side will face England at Emirates Durham ICG on 25th May.
As Englands only International at Durham in 2014 this will be your only chance to see some of the world’s best in action, including Durhams big hitting Ben Stokes in an England shirt. Sri Lanka boast some of the finest limited overs cricketers in the world and this is your chance to see them live!

Sri Lanka ‘A’ will also take on the Unicorns, Yorkshire, Glamorgan and Hampshire as part of their tour while New Zealand ‘A’ will play Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Kent and Surrey as part of their programme.
Somerset CCC, Gloucestershire CCC and Worcestershire CCC will host the matches in the triangular series which will be played over a week-long period from Tuesday August 5th to Tuesday August 12th.
