Durham Cricket are delighted to confirm that next summer’s ODI between England and South Africa at The Riverside has sold out.
Tickets for the fixture on Tuesday 19 July 2022, have been snapped up with just a few single seats remaining in the ground – as the club sees another international fixture sell out in the north-east.
From the Don Robson Pavilion to the County Durham Stand, each seat in the ground will be filled, as cricket fans will have the opportunity to see England’s 2019 World Cup Winning side back in action in Chester le Street.
Following a huge uptake from Members and previous international buyers, the final batch of tickets were sold in just days, as successful ballot entrants took advantage of being able to purchase their tickets.
Further tickets will become available once the final ground configuration for the game is confirmed.
Durham Cricket Marketing Director, David Jackson said: “All at Durham Cricket are absolutely delighted that tickets for next summer’s one-day international between England and South Africa has sold out, before going on general sale.
“This has clearly demonstrated the appetite for cricket in the North East and we look forward to hosting a full stadium next summer at The Riverside.”
