Can we bring food & drink into the ground?

Food & drink is allowed with the exception of alcohol, while cans & glass bottles are also strictly prohibited. The Club cannot keep hold of confiscated items & as such, these should be returned to cars or disposed of in the appropriate manner.

Why do I pay an extra £1 for a cup at the bar?

All bars operate a refundable £1 charge on each cup at the bar. Once returned to any bar at the end of the match, you will receive this back. Alternatively, you are welcome to keep it as a souvenir of your visit to Emirates Riverside.

This system is in place as we aim to become more environmentally friendly by reducing the amount of plastic wastage.

Where can I purchase food & drink inside the ground?

There are four large bars in operation on the day serving a number of refreshments at each side of the ground. In addition, a number of smaller units will be operating around the concourse including Eden Mill gin bar, Pimms & Greene King.

A number of food units are also operating around the ground including pizza, fish & chips, gourmet burgers & Mexican.

There are a number of vegetarian options & gluten free is also available from some vans. We advise asking each retailer about their gluten free options on the day.

Are facilities available for Durham CCC members?

Members’ Lounge facilities will run in the Indoor School behind the Media Centre. As with previous internationals, Members will be able to purchase a range of sandwiches, drinks & beer tokens, which can be used at the bars inside the ground.

Entry will be granted on production of a valid 2017 Durham CCC membership card.

Can I withdraw cash inside the ground?

Yes, there is an ATM located inside Austin’s Bar.

Where can I keep up to date about the fixture?

Our Twitter feed is the best place for all #ENGvWI news in the lead up to the match itself. On the day of the game, the latest weather updates direct from the ground will be available here.
