Next up at Emirates Riverside in this year’s NatWest T20 Blast is the visit of Northants Steelbacks for our Family Fun Day this Sunday, 9 July (2:30pm start).
The match is the first time the sides have clashed since last year’s final, when the Steelbacks ran out narrow winners.
Our cricket-themed activities – batting simulator, Jets speed cage & fielding cage – are back once again after making a successful first outing against the Lightning on Friday.
But we’ll have extra special activities for families to make it a fantastic afternoon out at the cricket.
A balloon modeller will be in attendance and the bouncy castle makes a return to the concourse for your pre-match entertainment.
Our interval games include the kids’ race, with two children going head-to-head in a race to put on Durham Jets kit & batting gear! The two lucky participants will be selected during the day.
And the Jets’ signing session will also return after the match, handing the chance for the little ones to meet their heroes for selfies & autographs.
The hot tub & Foster’s field will be back to add to the atmosphere on what is expected to be a fantastic day for all at Emirates Riverside!
