21-year old Latham will be looking to make his Test debut after his inclusion in the New Zealand 15-man squad. The wicket-keeper and aggressive opening batsman has represented his country in eight One Day Internationals and Three T20 matches but his ultimate goal has been to play Test Cricket for his country.
The Canterbury player was part of Durham’s academy squad in the 2011 season and no doubt his season in the North East of England has been part of his development into an International quality player.
