Foxes visit on Good Friday

Royal London One-Day Cup cricket comes to Emirates Riverside on Good Friday as Leicestershire Foxes visit in Durham’s second North Group game.

Advanced ticket sales close at midnight for the clash, with adults £12 & juniors £5. Admission is available from 10am on the day, with tickets priced at £15 adults & £5 juniors.

Lead High Performance Coach, James Franklin, named a 13-man squad prior to the first match & so has the same players to choose from ahead of tomorrow’s match.

They include Cameron Bancroft, who hit a century on his Durham List A debut, fellow centurion Michael Richardson & opener Scott Steel after his highly impressive start to life in the First XI in scoring 68.

“Winning always creates a nice feeling in the dressing room. The guys have been working hard so it’s nice to start this tournament really well and personally it was nice to get some runs,” Bancroft said following the Steelbacks win.

“When you’re playing at home you want to have an advantage. It’s quite a big oval so you need to run hard between the wickets and bowl to suit the conditions. I think we can make it a fortress for us.”

Tickets

Advanced tickets are available to purchase through the website via the link below.

Tickets are £12 in advance for adults, rising to £15 on the day. Junior tickets are £5 both in advance & on the day.

Match Coverage

The Club’s new Match Centre is in operation for the fixture, offering a live stream, live scorecard & other statistics as the game is happening. The live scorecard also has clickable links through to match videos, allowing you to keep posted with the latest events throughout the day.

BBC Newcastle’s Martin Emmerson will provide live commentary from the ground, as he will from every single Durham game during the 2019 season.

We are currently working on a solution to merge the commentary into the live stream & hope to have an update on this soon.
