The day started out with a quick soup and sandwich before the shotgun start saw the action begin!
A host of Durham players, including Paul Collingwood, Dale Benkenstein and Ben Stokes joined in with the action, taking the final place in each team.
Once the teams had completed the course the participants all headed back across the river to Emirates Durham ICG for the prize giving, dinner and of course a bit of analysis!
Brewin Dolphin, who had been joined by Dale Benkenstein, claimed the top spot, followed closely by R Manners, who had played alongside Ben Stokes and third place went to Riverside Events.
The prizes for the longest drive and nearest the pin were awarded to Rob Brotherton, who had played in the winning team, and Tom Seymour, of Riverside Events, respectively.
Director of Corporate Sales, Mike Elliott, said, “Thanks to all our sponsors, business supporters and players for joining us on what was a fantastic day at Chester le Street Golf Club. It was a great opportunity to catch up with people in a relaxed, even if slightly competitive environment. I wasn’t at all disgruntled that my team came last – next year I’m going to make sure I get to play in Brewin Dolphin’s team!”
