Great North Run for Durham Cricket Foundation

Durham Cricket Foundation is offering a limited number of spaces for the 40th Great North Run this September.

The half marathon is planned to take place on 12th September 2021 and the Foundation is looking for runners who could support the charity in its fundraising efforts.

Be part of the world’s biggest and best half-marathon under the Foundation banner and tackle the 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Shields to help make a difference in the North East through cricket.

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the Foundation’s fundraising over the past 16 months and the Great North Run is a fantastic opportunity which would help fund our projects.

There are a limited number of charity places available and runners are asked to pledge to raise £300 in sponsorship.

The money raised will help us continue to increase community engagement by building stronger, healthier, more connected communities, improve the physical and mental wellbeing of people aged 50+, and reduce isolation for adults.
