Harriet Robson made a second pre-season half-century in Durham Women’s 27-run defeat against Lancashire at Ropery Lane.
Emma Marlow won the toss and chose to bowl first and Durham got off to a positive start, reducing the visitors to 26 for three.
The Red Rose put together two 60-run partnerships before a trio of wickets fell in quick succession, limiting Lancashire to 169 for seven.
An eighth wicket stand of 36 saw the visitors to 205 with the innings ending shortly after as Lancashire were dismissed for 208.
Sophia Turner claimed figures of 3/48 as Grace Thompson, Trudy Johnson and Katie Levick all claimed a pair of wickets apiece for Durham.
Durham lost three wickets in the opening 10 overs, with Johnson falling shortly after as the hosts fell 34 for four.
Harriet Robson continued her positive pre-season, going to a second consecutive fifty in 66 balls.
She shared a partnership of 87 with Mia Rogers before falling caught to Tara Norris. Rogers made 49 before her dismissal to England-capped Emma Lamb, becoming the seventh batter to depart.
Abi Glen attempted to take Durham to victory as she struck a run-a-ball 21 but struggled for support as Durham fell 27 runs short.
Lamb took three wickets for the visitors as Norris claimed two and four wickets being shared between Phoebe Graham, Sophie Morris, Hannah Jones and Grace Johnson.
