Lads return for pre-season training

Durham Cricket professional playing squad returned back to Emirates Riverside this week, for the start of their winter fitness programme.

The Club’s strength & conditioning coach, Sam Clark, is leading the players’ fitness programmes as they start to plan towards the 2020 season.

The winter fitness programme began with the squad working in the gym on a number of capacity & strength tests before heading to the sports hall for the bleep test.

A fitness programme is in place up until the Christmas period begins, with the players then returning again in the New Year to continue their final prep ahead of the new season.

Durham Cricket TV caught up with the lads as they began their pre-season preparation.
