Lewis lends a hand at Tees Valley awards

Lewis presented a range of awards, which are open to all cricketing organisations in the Tees Valley region and was hosted at the Marton Hotel and Country Club.

The near 400-strong audience also displayed a unique show of support for Durham CCC as they held up a raft of club badges to welcome Lewis to the stage.

Marske captain Lee Hodgson picked up the Player of the Year award while the Emerging Player of the Year went to 16-year-old Tom Merryweather of Barnard Castle.

The Outstanding Services to Cricket Award was shared between Redcar president & chairman, Brian Reeves, and Barnard Castle groundsman Steve Dixon.

The club would like to thank all in attendance for an outstanding, emotional show of support.
