Durham Cricket put in an all-round commanding performance against Hidayata Cricket Academy with both bat and ball to make it four wins so far in the UAE in their latest fixture.
In the final group fixture in the Gulf Cup, Hidayata won the toss and elected to bat with Ellie Tiffin striking early to dismiss their opener Sanjay Harrish for 0.
Hidayata then lost three wickets for 58 runs as Bailey Wanless and Katie Chomse both struck with the ball.

Katie Chomse was on top form with the ball claiming figures of 4/20 from 5 overs while Tiffin, Wanless and Fenby both struck – as the hosts closed their 25 overs on 154.
In reply, Durham got off to a great start as Lizzie Scott and Hollie Forsyth both got the Durham innings underway with an opening stand of 59, Scott making 36 from 31 balls.
Hollie Forsyth led the way with 42 from 45 balls as she looked to chase down the score required supported by 16 from Bailey Wanless.
Once both fell, Durham found themselves 120/5, but a key innings from captain Helen Fenby with an unbeaten 20 from 20 balls saw Durham home with five balls to spare, winning by two wickets.
