Meet the Players schedule confirmed

With Meet the Players night approaching tomorrow evening (6:30pm start), the annual pre-season friendly against Durham MCCU is now just three days away.

The running order for tomorrow’s members-only event, hosted by BBC Newcastle’s Martin Emmerson, can now be confirmed.

Entry to the Members Lounge is from 6pm, with the start half an hour later. Members are asked to bring their membership cards & are advised that no guests are allowed due to anticipated high demand.

The 2018 yearbooks will be available for collection on the night on production of the voucher included within the membership packs.

A selection of players & coaches will be up on stage with Martin Emmerson, answering questions on the season ahead:

  • Will Smith & Cameron Steel
  • Nathan Rimmington & Chris Rushworth
  • Jon Lewis & Neil Killeen
  • James Weighell & Graham Clark
  • Paul Collingwood

A number of questions will be taken from the floor for Paul Collingwood before the evening wraps up at around 8:45pm.

2018 season updates

The Club would also like to take the chance to update members on a number of things ahead of the season commencing.

Thanks to feedback from members & supporters over the course of the 2017 season, investments have been made to the Club’s PA system & the first stage of the upgrade has now been completed. We expect this to improve the audibility of updates during the game & the next stages of the upgrade have been planned in accordingly. The Club has also invested in a new CCTV system at the ground.

The Newcastle Airport stand & North Terrace will remain closed to members & supporters for domestic games, & the price of scorecards has been increased from 60p to £1.
