Durham Cricket are pleased to announce the signing of wicket-keeper batter Mia Rogers on a two-year rookie deal.
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal running until the end of the 2026 season and joins the club on a contract from March 1.
Rogers, who has progressed through the Berkshire pathway made her professional debut in 2020 having been part of the Sunrisers set up over the last four seasons.
The right-hand batter made 8 List A appearances and 12 T20 appearance for the Sunrisers with her maiden professional appearance coming against Western Storm.
Currently studying at Durham University, where Rogers captains their women’s side – she has also represented Berkshire, Kent and the MCC.
Rogers said: “I am beyond excited to be joining the new Tier 1 set up at Durham.
“It is an absolute dream come true to sign my first full-time professional cricket contract, and I am extremely grateful to Dani and Marcus for this opportunity.
“The squad and environment that has been built here is really exciting, and I can’t wait to learn from everyone around me while contributing to what we are creating at the club.
