“It’s always good to get a good score, it’s been a tough few weeks early on for me so I’m pleased to have scored that hundred.
“I think we applied ourselves really well over the last few days and that helped us post an above average total. Muchy batted superbly and him and Blackie really started to take the game away from them.
“It’s great to have someone like Scott Borthwick, who is really good with the bat, coming in behind me at eight to add a few more runs to the total and he deserves some credit today, he batted really well.
“Harmy’s always done it for us, it was a real shame he got injured at the start of the season but he is coming back strong.
“It was always going to be difficult for Worcester to come out after we had scored 600, they will have used a lot of energy up in the field. We had a sneaky half an hour at them before tea and were able to take a few wickets, which is why we declared when we did, to put them under a bit of pressure.
“We’ll be looking to come back with the same amount of energy as we’ve shown in the past two days. There’s still a lot of work to do but if we can continue to put them under pressure then we’re well positioned.”
