Nathan Sowter signs for defending CPL champions Guyana Amazon Warriors

Durham bowler Nathan Sowter has been signed by Guyana Amazon Warriors for the 2024 Caribbean Premier League.

Sowter has been signed by the defending champions as a temporary replacement for the injured Imran Tahir.

The 31-year-old’s call up comes after an impressive two seasons for Durham where he has taken 43 wickets in the Vitality Blast since the start of 2023.

Sowter passed 150 career T20 wickets when playing for Oval Invincibles this summer, helping them to successive Hundred titles.

Sowter has been in action for the Warriors already, taking two wickets on debut against Trinbago Knight Riders.
