Nominations for the 2018 OSCAs are now open

Nominations for the annual Outstanding Service to Cricket Awards (OSCAs) are now open.

The awards are held to recognise the hard work thousands of volunteers across Durham put into the recreational game each season.

Nominations can be submitted in 11 award categories, including the newly introduced “All Stars Cricket Centre of the Year” award, which has been added to this year’s OSCAs process to reflect on the massive success the entry level programme has had in Durham this season.

The formerly “Services to Youth Cricket” category has also been updated to “Contribution to Youth Participation” and will accept nominations for volunteers who have made a significant contribution to the junior participation including All Stars Cricket.

Nominations can be submitted online along with a testimonial of no more than 200 words, which should outline the achievements of the nominee in the most appropriate category.

Nominate your volunteers now

The most outstanding nominees will be invited to a presentation dinner at Emirates Riverside on Friday 20th July 2018.

Unsuccessful nominees from previous years who are still doing valuable voluntary work are eligible for consideration on submission of an updated testimonial.

The closing date for nominations is Friday 29th June 2018 and we look forward to receiving your nominations before that date.
