Northern Superchargers fixture list confirmed for 2025

Northern Superchargers will be back in action in The Hundred on Thursday 7 August, with the men’s and women’s teams kicking off their campaigns at Headingley against Welsh Fire.

Superchargers’ first games come two days after the fifth year of world-class cricket and blockbuster entertainment gets underway with a London derby between London Spirit and Oval Invincibles at Lord’s on Tuesday 5 August.

Both Northern Superchargers teams will hope to make it all the way to Lord’s for The Hundred Final on Sunday 31 August, the culmination of 34 matchdays across 27 days of high-quality sport and compelling drama.

Saturday 30 August will see the Kia Oval host The Hundred Eliminator, in which second- and third-placed teams compete for a place in The Hundred Final.

This season, for the first time, direct signings have been permitted in The Hundred. Teams in the men’s and women’s competitions will be able to sign one new overseas player by Deadline Day on 24 February.

Amelia Kerr and Laura Wolvaardt have today been confirmed as The Hundred’s first-ever direct signings, joining  Manchester Originals and Southern Brave respectively.

Entering its fifth season, over two million fans have now watched The Hundred live, with one million of those fans in attendance for the women’s competition. In 2024, The Hundred’s blend of high-energy entertainment, cricket and live music – including Zara Larsson and Cat Burns – saw 41% of all tickets sold to families in 2024, with 23% to juniors and 30% to women.

Supporters who have been season ticket holders in any of the four years of The Hundred or who bought tickets for more than two matchdays in 2024 will be able to buy a season ticket from today.

There will be an exclusive window open to fans who have previously bought tickets to The Hundred from 4-18 March.

All other fans who would like to access priority tickets can enter the priority sale window from 1-15 April by signing up in advance at thehundred.com.

The general sale period for the fifth year of The Hundred begins from 17 April. Tickets continue to be great value, with prices set at £5 for juniors aged 3-15 (free for under 3s) and adults starting from £12.

‘It is a great tournament to be a part of’

Harry Brook, Northern Superchargers men’s captain, said: “The Hundred is a great tournament to be a part of. You get fantastic crowds to play in front of at the biggest venues, with great support. I have absolutely loved being a part of the Superchargers. Captaining last year was a great experience, as was working alongside Fred. We have a great group of players that we will hopefully manage to retain for this year’s competition. We will be looking to build on the momentum we have started to gather as a squad over the last few seasons.”

All games will again be live on Sky Sports and BBC broadcast and digital channels throughout the competition.
