Durham Dynamos lost to Notts Outlaws by seven wickets at Emirates Durham ICG on Sunday after being put into bat first
The Dynamos posted 114-5 in their twenty overs with new signing Jo Myburgh top scoring with 45 and Gordon Muchall contributing 23.
Notts Outlaws reached passed the total with seven wickets in hand and 3.4 overs to spare, with Graham Onions. Mitchell Claydon and Scott Borthwick each taking one wicket.
At the close of play Jo Myburgh said, “It was hard work out there, having lost four very important wickets but in the end I had a nice partnership with Muchy but if we could’ve got to 130 we might have given them a better game.
“If we won the toss we would have put them in first so perhaps the wicket did get better during the day, sometimes this happens in t20, you’ve got to recover, you can’t dwell on it.
“I was fortunate enough to speak to Benki and come up and play in the trial last week, played quite well and I’ve got a good opportunity here. I just want to enjoy it, perform well and I want the team to win. If I can contribute in any way, that would be great.”
