Running from April to April the calendar, featuring plenty of your Durham favourites, can’t fail to bring a smile to your face with some very inventive shots included…like you’d expect anything else!
Priced at £6 (plus £1.50 for postage and packaging) all proceeds will go directly to Comic Relief thanks to the generosity of Jed Wee at Essence of Light Photography, Keith Palmer at Mandarin Media and Peter Bennett at Stonebrook Media who all kindly donated their time, expertise and production lines free of charge.
Graham Onions said, “I really wanted to contribute something to this year’s Comic Relief fundraising campaign and thought that a naked calendar could help us raise some cash for this excellent cause. I didn’t have to ask the lads twice – they were really keen to support the charity and I think the photos will really make people laugh!
“We had great fun getting the photos taken and I’ve really enjoyed organising the project – I just need people to buy the calendar now so we can start making some money for Comic Relief!
“In Africa, £5 could pay for a mosquito net to protect a mother and her baby from contracting life-threatening malaria while they sleep. In the UK £1 could pay for a young person, struggling with an eating disorder, to get the vital support and information they need online from a specially trained support worker.
