Durham Cricket and its Groundstaff Association will be holding a Pre-Season Groundstaff event at Seat Unique Riverside on Wednesday 1st February 2023.
As we get closer to the season, the event will cover pre-season square preparations, with expert tips to help produce even and consistent wickets in the summer.
Led by Pitch Advisor Martin Stephenson, the event is an opportunity to get top advice as well as join a network of local groundstaff from across the county.
Martin Stephenson will also be joined by Durham Cricket Head Groundsman Vic Demain and Andy Welsby who is the Grounds Management Association Regional Cricket Pitch Advisor for North and Midlands.
The event is suitable for anyone with an interest in the field, regardless of experience. There will be an open discussion at the end, with the speakers taking questions.
The event will take place at Seat Unique Riverside in the Lumley Lounge from 6pm until 8pm.
