The weather is set fair for Thursday evening as Worcestershire Rapids are the visitors at Emirates Riverside for Durham Cricket’s fifth T20 blast home fixture.
The competition is now hotting up as only three points separate Durham in fourth and Yorkshire in ninth with five games to go.
Durham have so far had a positive campaign with four wins, and one rained off fixture out of nine, four points behind Lancashire Lightning who occupy the top spot in the North Group.
Tickets are on advance sale on the club’s website or by calling the Box Office on 0844 499 4466 at £15 for adults and £5 for children, with adults rising to £20 on the day.
Tickets which were purchased for Sunday’s fixture at home to Notts Outlaws can be used for Thursday night’s game or any of the remaining group fixtures this season.
D’Arcy Short has been in fine form at Emirates Riverside this summer, sitting top of the PCA MVP rankings and will be looking to continue his hard-hitting form this Thursday against the Rapids.
In addition to the cricket, the Liontrust Family Zone will be in full swing from 4:30pm, offering a range of activities including, fielding and bowling cages plus the batting simulator.
While down watching Durham against the Rapids, why not grab a cold beer, sitting in the sun watching the D’s in action.
Kids will also have their chance to meet and greet with the Durham squad on conclusion of the fixture, so make sure your children and grandchildren have their autographs and cameras at the ready.
