Registrations open for All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket

All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket are returning to clubs across Durham in 2022, with registrations for the two programmes open from today, 24th February.

Sixty-three clubs across Durham will be running All Stars Cricket, a programme for boys and girls aged five to eight, with Dynamos Cricket available in 32 clubs county-wide for participants between the ages of eight and 11.

Children can now sign up to the two programmes, with Durham Cricket running exclusive membership offers for this year’s participants and their families.

Last year, over 101,000 children took part in ECB’s entry-level cricket programmes for a record-breaking summer for the game, with over 3,500 children taking part across Durham.

The activity-packed programmes offer a great introduction to cricket for children who are having a go for the first time and a brilliant opportunity to play and meet new friends for those who have played before.

All Stars Cricket is suited to children aged five to eight and runs for eight weeks, providing a fantastic first experience of the game. The programme helps children develop nine out of ten fundamental movement skills, while inspiring them to a lifelong love for sport and cricket.

Dynamos Cricket is designed for children aged eight to 11 and runs for a minimum of six weeks, with sessions between 60 and 90 minutes. The programme is designed to encourage boys and girls to have fun, make friends and fall in love with cricket.

The two programmes come with many benefits:

  • Participants who sign up to All Stars Cricket will receive a participant pack including backpack, cricket bat, ball, personalised shirt with name and are entitled to a free Durham Cricket Junior Membership – an initiative driven by Durham Cricket.
  • Participants who sign up to Dynamos Cricket will receive a free New Balance personalised t-shirt with name and number, exclusive access to Topps Cricket Attax cards and access to the Dynamos Cricket app which contains loads of exclusive content. The programme will run alongside The Hundred, with participants getting priority access to tickets, free gifts and money-can’t-buy experiences.
