Safe Hands Courses 2022

Details about our Safe Hands courses for club safeguarding officers are now available.

After the qualification was temporarily moved online during the pandemic, we can confirm that face-to-face courses are retuning.

Five courses will be available, all taking place at the Riverside before the season.

The courses are free of charge and are suitable for both new club safeguarding officers, who need to complete the Safe Hands course for the first time, and excising officers, who need to attend a refresher.

The face-to-face course will give candidates a certificate valid for three years.

Certifications required for Safeguarding Officers

Two courses are required for anyone who is a club safeguarding officer: Safeguarding Young Cricketers and Safe Hands.

If you are a safeguarding officer, it is important that you check your Safeguarding Young Cricketers status and update it if necessary. The latter is an online course, which you can access via the below link.

If you are uncertain of the validity of your certificate, please get in touch with us on 0191 3872868.
