Durham’s Second XI fixtures have been confirmed for the 2025 season, with fixtures announced in both the 2nd XI Championship and 2nd XI T20 Trophy along with a number of friendlies.
Preparations for the season will commence on Wednesday 9th April with a three-day friendly against Durham UCCE at the Racecourse followed by three red ball friendlies against Nottinghamshire, Sussex and Yorkshire in the opening month of the season.
Following the opening month played as red ball friendlies, Durham will get into T20 action starting at home to Lancashire followed by Nottinghamshire at Seat Unique Riverside.
The T20 block will also see Durham take on Derbyshire at Duffield, Yorkshire at Harrogate and Seat Unique Riverside, Leicestershire at Darlington and Northamptonshire at Campbell Park.
The Second XI Championship will kick off against Warwickshire at Portland Road, followed by a home clash with Kent, along with home ties against Nottinghamshire at South Northumberland and Middlesex at Seat Unique Riverside.
Headquarters Seat Unique Riverside will play host to four fixtures with nine days of Second XI cricket to be played in Chester le Street.
The Championship season comes to a close with an away fixture against Glamorgan at Newport.
