Semi-finals confirmed for the Junior Indoor Six-a-Side Competition

Burnopfield, Chester-le-Street, Greenside  and Lanchester Cricket Clubs qualified for the semi-finals of Durham Cricket Board’s Junior Indoor Six-a-Side Competition, taking place this Sunday, 20 January.

The final four all topped their groups and went through to the next stage unbeaten in the competition.

In the semis on Sunday, Lanchester CC will face Chester-le-Street CC while Burnopfield CC will play Greenside CC for the right to compete in the final at 11.00am at Emirates Riverside Indoor Cricket Centre.

The Junior Indoor Six-a-Side Competition is organised annually by Durham Cricket Board in a bid to create more competitive opportunities for junior teams in the off-season.

The competition received the greatest interest this winter than ever before, with 17 teams taking part.
