Spectator info: Durham vs Lancashire @ South North CC

Durham’s final home Royal London One-Day Cup match will take place against Lancashire at South Northumberland CC on Tuesday, 30 April.

It will be the fifth List A fixture Durham have played at the ground in Gosforth, with all four games so far resulting in a Durham victory.

To make your day as enjoyable as possible, key information regarding the match, travel & other arrangements are detailed below.

Match Timings & Venue

South Northumberland CC is the venue for the fixture, based in Gosforth. The postcode for the club is NE3 1LU.

The match will be played under normal Royal London One-Day Cup scheduled timings:

  • 11:00am – 2:30pm – First innings
  • 3:15pm – 6:30pm – Second innings

Gates will open at 10am.

Tickets & Seating

Advanced tickets are currently available for the fixture, priced at £12 adults & £5 juniors. These can be bought in person via the Box Office, over the phone on 0844 499 4466 or on the website via the link below.

Members will gain free entry on production of a valid 2019 membership card.

Any remaining tickets can be bought on the day at South North CC, priced at £15 adults & £5 juniors, from the main entrance into the ground at Gosforth Park. Those already in possession of a ticket can alternatively enter through the Moor Road entrance.

Please note there is no spectator seating at the ground aside from benches, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We therefore advise spectators to bring their own.

Members will be provided seats on a first-come, first-served basis.

Travel

Parking around South North CC is highly limited & we therefore strongly advise spectators to use public transport.

Metro

The ground is within walking distance from South Gosforth station on the Tyne & Wear Metro.

Spectators coming from the south can use the Park & Metro service from Heworth, while those coming from the north can use a similar service from Kingston Park.

An extensive bus service operates within the Gosforth area, with regular stops on Gosforth High Street.

Members Service

A return members service will be running from Emirates Riverside. The price is £4 per person & is available on a first-come, first-served basis & must be booked in advance of Tuesday, 30 April.

The bus will leave Emirates Riverside at 9:30am & return shortly after the conclusion of the match.

For members in possession of a disabled parking permit for home matches this service will be free, but booking is still necessary.

Disabled Area

A hard standing area will be set aside for disabled spectators adjacent to the main building.

This will include easy access to a disabled toilet.

Catering & Alcohol

The bar at South North will only be accessible to Durham members, as in previous years. A valid membership card will have to be shown in order to be served at this bar.

As would be the case if the match was played at Emirates Riverside, spectators are permitted to bring their own alcohol to the equivalent of one bottle of wine or four cans of beer/lager/cider per person. No glass is permitted.

There will be public catering available at the ground, as well as a separate area for members.

A pass out system will be in operation for those wanting to use the local shops on Gosforth High Street, giving spectators the opportunity to go out & return to the ground should they wish to do so.
