Spectator Information: Durham v Kent

Durham return to Seat Unique Riverside tomorrow taking on Kent in the 2024 season finale.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of attending the fixture or watching from home!

*Due to an event being held in the Geoff Cook lounge on Friday, the members lounge will be held in the Castle View Suite. Fish and Chips will instead be served on Thursday in the Geoff Cook lounge. 

GATES

Entry to the ground will be via Gate 2.

Gates will open at 9:30am.

Hospitality gates will open at 9:30am with access via gate 2.

HOURS OF PLAY

The scheduled hours of play are as follows, but please listen for announcements of any adjustments to these timings on the day.

10:30am Start of play

5:30 pm Scheduled Close of Play

VENUE

Seat Unique Riverside is a cashless venue.

TICKETS AND MEMBERSHIP

Tickets are available to purchase for all four days of this fixture from the box office at Gate 2. Adult tickets can be purchased in advance for adults at £14 and £16.50 on the day with junior tickets £5 per day.  If you are arriving to any of the days after tea, tickets are priced at £5. You can also buy match tickets by clicking here.

CAR PARKING

Parking is available in the council car parks outside the ground. There will be no stewarding in this area.

Members with pre paid disabled parking passes will be able to park in the ground, access being by gate 6.

GROUND/PITCH ACCESS

The match will be played on pitch 12.

SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS

Please allow sufficient time for our staff to carry out our security procedures (including bag searches and “pat – down”checks).

You can also assist with the security operation by reporting any concerns-no matter how small-to the club’s stewards. Help stay secure by staying alert; if something doesn’t look right, tell a steward.

SHOP/RECEPTION/BOX OFFICE

Durham’s Welcome Hub will be open throughout this fixture.

Fans will have the chance to browse all of Durham’s retail offering in our club shop including our new new range of kit.

2025 Memberships can be purchased and renewed from the Welcome Hub this week as they go on sale.

SCORECARDS & YEARBOOKS

As part of the Club’s initiative to reduce paper waste, a scorecard will be available to purchase for £1 at the club shop. This will have both squads listed giving members the chance to fill out for their own use. Scorecards won’t be updated for members each day but will be able to purchase scorecards daily.

LEAVING THE GROUND

The pass out facility will be available to spectators throughout the day for those wishing to leave and re-enter the ground during a match.

FOOD AND DRINK

The Durham Cricket members lounge will be open from 9:30am serving breakfast rolls, Lunch & Tea, and snacks along with hot and cold drinks.  *Due to an event being held in the Geoff Cook lounge on Friday, the members lounge will be held in the Castle View Suite. Fish and Chips will instead be served on Thursday in the Geoff Cook lounge. 

The Sticky Wicket will be open from 10am serving breakfast, lunch and dinner along with cold drinks. Please note a coffee van will be outside of the Sticky Wicket serving hot drinks. For day one [Sunday] the Sticky Wicket will be serving Sunday roast lunch. Ice cream will be available from the ice cream van daily.

LIVE STREAMING

This fixture will be live streamed and available to watch on the Durham Cricket website or by visiting our channel on Youtube.

SENSORY ROOM

The Durham Cricket Sensory Room will be available for use throughout all Vitality County Championship games this season, to book your place please email Durham Cricket Membership services officer Michael Thorpe at michael.thorpe@durhamcricket.co.uk – to use the Sensory Room you will need to have a valid match ticket. Around the corner from the Media Centre a Changing Places facility is available which includes disabled toilets and changing space.

The new accessible changing facility meets the needs of those with complex care needs and provides equipment, including a height adjustable adult-sized changing bench, ceiling track hoist system and peninsular toilet.

Our new multi-faith space will be available for use throughout this fixture and is situated next to the Media Centre.

VISUALLY IMPAIRED COMMENTARY

Thanks to a team of volunteers, we will once again be able to offer commentary on this fixture for those who are visually impaired and attending the Riverside.
