Scottish International all-rounder Calum MacLeod is named in the 14 man group for the game at Emirates Durham ICG, after impressing for the Second XI.
The 25 year old scored a century in the recent T20 match against Yorkshire and could make his Jets debut against the Rapids.
New limited overs skipper Mark Stoneman is without both Graham Onions (back) and Ben Stokes (wrist) due to injury, but Jamie Harrison has recovered from the foot problem that kept him out of the midweek game at Hove.
