Trevaskis in for Outlaws clash

Liam Trevaskis returns to a 14-man squad for tomorrow night’s NatWest T20 Blast clash with Nottinghamshire Outlaws at Emirates Riverside (6:30pm start).

The all-rounder replaces Adam Hickey after it was confirmed the opener suffered a fractured clavicle in yesterday’s match against Lancashire Lightning.

Trevaskis was included in the first two squads in this year’s Blast & has since featured for an Invitational XI in a warm-up friendly against India under-19s. He joins the England under-19 squad for the One-Day series next month.

One of Trevaskis, Usman Arshad, Barry McCarthy or Michael Richardson will replace Hickey in the XI.

Cameron Steel & Gareth Harte both debuted against the Lightning on Sunday, with the former registering the highest score in the Jets’ innings.

The Outlaws come to Emirates Riverside on a high after recording victories in their last two matches, the first following a club record score against Derbyshire Falcons.

Tickets are still available from the Box Office, with adults £15 & juniors £5 until midnight tonight.
