Under 17’s Runners Up in Nissan Gulf Cup

All matches were played at the Abu Dhabi cricket stadium in Dubai and their route to the final included victories against the UAE NCC, Westminister Young Talents, Al Ain Cricket Council and Zayed Cricket Academy.

Academy Manager John Windows and Durham CCC Head Coach Geoff Cook accompanied the team and were delighted by their performance and atitude throughout the competition.

John Windows said, “The entire squad worked incredibly hard during the competition and the results definitely reflect this.  It was a great achievement for us to get into the Final and I’m very proud of the way the team played and how they conducted themselves while we were away.  The trip gave our players invaluable experiece of different conditions and provided them with some really difficult opposition.”
