Can I purchase tickets on the day of the concert?
If there is availability, yes, tickets can be purchased on the day of the concert from the box office.
Can I have a refund or exchange on my tickets?
We regret that we cannot exchange, refund or transfer tickets unless the event in question has been cancelled or rescheduled. This is part of the purchase policy you agree to when purchasing tickets.

We do not share show times as they are subject to change. We expect entertainment to begin at 7pm and finish at 11pm or just before.

Travelling to the Emirates Riverside, Durham…
By Road:
Emirates Riverside, Durham is located just 1.5 miles from the junction 63 on the A1(M).
From the North:
Take the fourth exit on the roundabout about at junction 63 and head along the A167 towards Chester-le-Street. At the first roundabout take the first exit to continue on the A167 towards Durham. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the B1284 towards Houghton-le-Spring and the Lumley Castle Hotel. At the next roundabout take the third exit towards Emirates Riverside.
From the South:
Take the first exit on the roundabout about at junction 63 and head along the A167 towards Chester-le-Street. At the first roundabout take the first exit to continue on the A167 towards Durham. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the B1284 towards Houghton-le-Spring and the Lumley Castle Hotel. At the next roundabout take the third exit towards Emirates Riverside.
Car Parking
There are a number of council owned car parks around the Emirates Riverside, Durham.
Accessible Car Parking
For big events, Blue Badge Holders (BBH) can purchase a Blue Badge Parking Permit in advance, which enables them to park in the red spectator spaces nearest Emirates Riverside.

By Bus:
There is an extensive local bus network operating to and from Chester-le-Street. Routes north / south from Newcastle to several destinations (e.g. Durham, Bishop Auckland), and east / west (e.g. Sunderland, Consett).
From Newcastle:
The 21 bus leaves from Newcastle Eldon Square and takes approximately an hour to reach Chester-le-Street. Every 21 bus stops at Chester-le-Street Coral’s and half stop Chester-le-Street Black Horse so consult the Go North East journey planner before making your journey. The route goes from Newcastle through Gateshead and Birtley before arriving at Chester-le-Street.
From Durham:
The 21 bus leaves from Durham Bus Station and takes approximately 15 minutes to reach Chester-le-Street. Every 21 bus stops at Chester-le-Street Red Lion and half stop Chester-le-Street Black Horse so consult the Go North East journey planner before making your journey.
From Sunderland:
The 78 bus leaves from Sunderland Interchange and takes approximately 50 minutes to reach Chester-le-Street. Every 78 bus stops at Chester-le-Street South Burns. The route goes from Sunderland through Hastings Hill, Bournmoor and Great Lumley before arriving at Chester-le-Street.
The 36 bus leaves from Sunderland Interchange and takes approximately 1 hour to reach Chester-le-Street. Every 36 bus stops at Chester-le-Street Black Horse and Chester-le-Street Front Street. The route goes from Castletown through Sunderland, Silksworth, Farringdon, Houghton-le-Spring and Great Lumley before ending at Chester-le-Street.
By Train:
Chester-le-Street station is served by three train operating companies. Northern Rail, CrossCountry & First TransPennine all run regular services from local & regional destinations. On busy match days, additional stops are made by trains at Chester-le-Street.
Please note East Coast services from Edinburgh and London are unable to call at Chester-le-Street: the nearest stop for East Coast is Durham.
VENUE
Is the concert seated?
It is a standing concert, however there are unreserved general admission seats available within the bowl.
Please note in the seated areas people may stand around you.
Is the concert outdoors?
Yes. Please ensure you bring clothing appropriate to the expected weather conditions.
If it rains, will the concert still go ahead?
Yes, the concert will go ahead in the rain so please come prepared. Concerts are only ever cancelled if the weather conditions make it dangerous.
What are the toilet facilities?
All customers will have easy access to toilet facilities. There will be accessible toilets located at the venue.
Can I buy official merchandise?
Yes, if available, official merchandise will be available to purchase within the venue.
Is there a cash machine?
There is no on-site cash machine, so please bring the money you need for the evening. Some vendors and the Stick Wicket may allow you to pay on card.

SECURITY
Bag Policy
Yes, but please try to bring a bag no larger than an A4 piece of paper. All bags are subject to a search so please avoid bringing one where you can as this would speed up your entry to the concert.
Food and Drink
Food and drink are not permitted however there are food and drink concessions within the event.
1 sealed bottled water per person max 500ml is permitted.
1 empty reusable bottle is permitted.
There will be free water re-fill stations at the venue.
If you have a medical condition, then a doctor’s note will permit diet-specific food and drink only.
Can I bring an umbrella?
Umbrellas are not permitted.
Can I bring a camera?
Any cameras that are deemed as “Professional” will be confiscated until the end of the concert.
Allowed:
Non-Professional Recording Equipment (Point & Shoot Cameras, Flip Video Cameras, etc.)
Not Allowed:
Professional Recording (Photo, Video, Audio) Equipment (NO Detachable Zoom Lense, Tripods or Other Commercial Equipment)
Child Policy
Children under 5 years are not permitted in to the stadium.
Persons under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
No under 16s in Golden Circle standing.
Ticket Limit
A max of 8 tickets apply for Gold Circle and General Admission Standing tickets. Tickets in excess of this will be cancelled.
Resale only permitted on Ticketmaster.
Tickets purchased by businesses or traders will be cancelled.
Re admittance policy
Once you leave the venue you will not be allowed back in.
