Hot on the heels of tonight’s NatWest T20 Blast fixture is the visit of the Lancashire Lightning next Friday, 22 July (6:30pm start) – and a chance to win a special trip to Dubai!
Emirates are offering a return business class trip for a lucky fan, but you ought to sharpen up on your catching skills in preparation!
The first person in the crowd to catch a six wearing an Emirates cap will jet off to enjoy a three-night stay at the Warwick hotel in the Middle East courtesy of the airline, with return flights from Newcastle.
Caps will be handed out at each of the gates into the Emirates Riverside, so don’t fluff your lines and keep those hands warm in case the big opportunity comes your way!
A host of other activities are also taking place as the on-field battle for qualification places heats up in the North Group.
We have a special pre-game inflatable obstacle course running as well as arts & crafts and a toy store.
But be sure to be in your seats handily as the parachute display takes place again after their exhilarating performance at the Yorkshire Vikings fixture.
The pre-game Kwik Cricket and Guard of Honour will take place with junior cricketers from Brandon Cricket Club as they welcome the players onto the pitch alongside a firework entrance.

The match starts but the activities do not end and we are introducing a game of ‘I Have Never’ for the first time during the interval! Collect your cards – double-sided with ‘I Have’ or ‘I Have Never’ – to play along with the rest of the crowd on the big screen.
Our Fan of the Match returns, with a prize of two Platinum tickets for the Bryan Adams concert here at Emirates Riverside. The selected winner will have an Emirates cap on – yet another the reason to make sure you pick yours up at the gates!
