MCC take on champions Nottinghamshire in the opening match of the county season in Abu Dhabi from March 27-30. Meanwhile down the road in Dubai Durham and Sussex will play two warm-up matches against each other before completing their week in the UAE by playing in the Emirates Airline Twenty20 on April 1 with MCC, Nottinghamshire and a Fly Emirates XI, comprising talented employees of the airline.
This is the fifth year of the event (www.emiratest20.com) and is part of the ARCH series which also includes the annual Emirates Airline ARCH Trophy for schools. Both events are organised by UK-based Sport Arabia Ltd.
The prize includes two return economy-class flights with Emirates to Dubai from the UK; six nights’ accommodation for two people on a bed-and-breakfast, twin-share (ie: not two singles) basis, departing on March 26 returning on April 2; and UAE airport transfers.
Also included is entry to the Emirates Airline Twenty20 tournament, the Durham-Sussex warm-ups and the MCC v Champion County game. To have a chance of winning answer correctly the following questions:
