James Bell

James Bell returned to Durham Cricket in 2025 as Women’s Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach joining the Club from Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

Bell joined Derbyshire as Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2022 working with their men’s professional squad – while also working as Strength and Conditioning Coach for Trent Rockets in the Hundred.

Prior to his move to the Midlands, James worked as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Durham Cricket, with a responsibility for the Second XI, Boys’ Academy and Pathway teams.

He is a graduate of Northumbria University with a BSc in Applied Sports Science and Coaching before completing a Masters in Strength and Conditioning.
