Josh van Kalken

Josh is Durham’s Physiotherapist joining the Club in November 2024 from the NHS where he worked as a Msk Locum Physiotherapist at Manchester University Foundation Trust.

An experienced Physiotherapist, van Kalken graduated from the University of Queensland with a BSc in Physiotherapy in 2016 – going on to work as a physiotherapist in Brisbane, Australia until 2018.

Since 2019, he has worked in the UK with experience in clinical and pitch side physiotherapy, most notably as Head of Medical Services and Lead Physiotherapist at Sale Sharks Women’s rugby, alongside roles at Oldham Athletic football club and within the NHS.
