Susan Dale

Susan Dale is Durham’s Head of Medical Services with a responsibility of managing the men’s and women’s physiotherapy department – with her primary focus on the men’s professional squad.

Susan returned to Durham Cricket in 2022 as Club Physiotherapist and was quickly promoted to Head of Medical Services and Lead Physiotherapist within a year of returning.

An experienced physiotherapist, Susan worked at Durham Cricket between 2007 and 2013 and has also held roles at the ECB as England Women’s physiotherapist before joining Leicester City Women as Head Physiotherapist in 2020.

Susan qualified with an MSc in Physiotherapy from Teesside University after first achieving a Bc in Sports Science. She has also gained postgraduate qualifications in sports massage therapy, acupuncture, Pilates, sports conditioning and sports trauma management.

In 2019 Susan achieved a Master of Science degree in Sports Physiotherapy from University of Bath.
